QA Test Engineer
Are you a driven QA Test Engineer with a keen eye for detail? Do you want to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software before it reaches our customers? Then we are looking for you!
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our software throughout all stages of development. From design and development to testing and delivery, you ensure that our software meets the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with an enthusiastic team and report to the Product Owner.
What you’ll do
- Execute manual and automated test scripts
- Write and implement automated tests
- Analyze test results and identify bugs
- Propose improvements to minimize issues
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure timely delivery
- Ensure the software meets our quality standards
- Document the functional behavior of the application
You
- Have at least a completed Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in ICT or Computer Science
- Have some experience in a similar role
- Possess strong communication skills and act as the link between the Product Owner and the team
- Have analytical skills to help the team deliver software on time and to quality standards
- Have a keen eye for detail and recognize and test use cases early using test scripts
- Have thorough knowledge of various software technologies and QA methodologies
- Have experience with functional, smoke, performance, and security testing
- Are familiar with web technologies and automated test tools
- Have experience with Selenium or other automated testing tools
- Hold an ISTQB certification or are willing to obtain one (or a similar certification)
- Have excellent command of English
- Are eligible to work for a Dutch employer and can provide proof
- Are available to work 32–40 hours per week
