Gericke BV in Hoevelaken is looking for a Project Engineer / Coordinator Mechanical Engineering for Powder Processing Equipment & Systems. Gericke is part of the internationally operating Swiss Gericke Group, which has been involved in the design, manufacture, construction and commissioning of powder processing equipment and turn-key systems based on it for more than 130 years. Gericke’s installations are located in many sectors, such as the food, chemical, pharmaceutical industry, etc. +/- 32 people work on site in Hoevelaken and more than 350 employees work in the group companies worldwide.

In this job you take care of and monitor the project planning, the budget, the additional work and the invoicing.
What are you going to do ?
In this fun and broad vacancy of Project Engineer/Coordinator, you are the spider in the web as a technical and communicative mechanical engineer in the current projects. You are involved in the coordination of the construction up to and including the delivery of the process installations. So you are involved in all facets from engineering.
This includes:
- You take care of and monitor the project planning, the budget, the additional work and the invoicing.
- Within the project team, you coordinate the work of the mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
- You select, request and order the purchased parts and constructions.
- You collect the supplied documentation and draw up the manuals.
- You supervise the assembly in collaboration with the assembly manager and the customer.
- You have intensive contact with the customer to discuss project matters with him.
What do you bring to the table?
To be able to perform this function well, you need at least a technical education at WO/HBO level.
You have experience from technology as a work planner, project engineer or in the coordination focused function in technical mechanical engineering / WTB installation projects. Knowledge of P&IDs and/or control systems are a big advantage.
Good knowledge of both the Dutch and English languages. German is an advantage.
