Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, job plans, and asset data.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in technical or infrastructure-related environments is a plus.

Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
Your contribution to TenneT
How will you help power the Netherlands? As a Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for developing and optimizing maintenance engineering plans that enable reliable execution of recurring maintenance across TenneT’s Dutch grid. Your work supports a sustainable and efficient energy system. In addition, you are responsible for:
Maintenance Planning

Develop and implement maintenance engineering plans based on maintenance concepts and asset strategies.

Generate and manage preventive maintenance work orders and activity lists.

Create year plans and cost forecasts for cyclic work and investments.

Update plans based on conflicts between critical maintenance activities in collaboration with operations.
Continuous Improvement

Conduct lessons learned sessions and integrate insights into planning processes.

Support continuous development and optimization of maintenance strategies, concepts, and repair planning.

Coordinate change requests to maintenance plans and act as gatekeeper for implementation.

Analyze past maintenance campaigns to generate actionable forecasts.

Ensure compliance with TenneT’s Safety Leadership mindset and safety, health, and environmental standards.
Operational Support & Data Management

Serve as the single point of contact (SPoC) for maintenance-related inquiries.

Ensure adherence to TenneT’s maintenance execution standards and cycles.

Interface with SAP (S/4HANA) and CMMS systems to structure asset data and work orders.

Collaborate on digital initiatives such as SAM integration and process harmonization.
You will be part of the Maintenance Engineering team led by Alexander Sanders van Well, within the Gridfield Operation Netherlands division (GON). The team works closely with Asset Management, Technical Specialists, Operations and Maintenance Execution Areas to ensure effective and reliable maintenance practices.

We offer:

A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period or 1 year contract with the intention for a permanent contract based on a 40-hour work week;

A salary in grade 8, ranging from €4,151 to €8,197 per month, plus 8% holiday allowance and a 6% year-end bonus;
-
A solid pension scheme via ABP, with TenneT covering 70% of the premium;
-
43 vacation days per year.
All employment conditions mentioned apply to a full-time contract unless stated otherwise.
