Internship
Becoming less dependent on the use of fossil fuels is our mission. We are looking for the brightest students to make this happen. During this internship, you’ll have a unique position to contribute to our purpose. Apply your skills and learn new ones in an innovative environment.
Join our Transaction and Position Management (TPM) team, driven by continuously improving processes to optimize energy trading and positioning strategies. As an intern, you’ll gain firsthand experience in combining technology with green energy principles to support our mission to fossil freedom.
Together with industry experts, you’ll be working on green energy solutions and gain hands-on experience in energy systems and sustainability projects. In the TPM team you will collaborate with experts and receive mentorship whilst contributing to reducing CO2 emissions and transforming the energy landscape and supporting with project management activities.
What are you going to do?

Use Python for statistical analysis and energy market data interpretation.

Participate in research for green energy strategies, with topics to be discussed during the interview.

Assist in process modelling and execution to optimize energy management.

Collaborate on reports and presentations.

Contribute to solutions aligning with Vattenfall’s green energy objectives.

Qualifications
Who are you?
You are an enthusiastic and proactive student, who can identify with our core values: active, open, positive and safety. And you are:

Proficient in project and time management.

You have good coding skills in Python.

You are well acquainted with PowerBI.

You have an understanding of the energy industry and sustainability principles.

You speak English fluently and have excellent communication skills.

We are looking for someone who is available for a period of 3 months or more, for at least 4 days a week. The starting date is 1st of July.
