Due to the rapid expansion of Mindray’s success, Mindray Medical Netherlands needs a true service professional, technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of Electronic Medical equipment, or demonstrating experience in working on similar electronic equipment within the medical devices industry preferably, based in and around the Gorinchem region, for this role combining both field services and workshop work.
The Service team supports our customers with their engineering and technical requirements. The team ensures our customers receive the best possible service support and service is consistently of the highest quality. This person focuses on providing professional technical service support for Mindray products in accordance with established National Service policies and procedures. Additionally, they serve as a technical resource to support our customers, their team, and the Field Service Engineers throughout Netherlands, both from customers and sales demonstration units, for our products.
Responsibilities include:
Provides technical service support on the maintenance, repair, inspection, and calibration of Mindray products for customers within Netherlands (Primarily Patient Monitoring devices/systems, with basic IT connectivity and Ultrasound device maintenance included)
Respond to customer calls and emails during office hours, Monday to Friday. Maintain positive, professional communications with customers, and service team members
Take responsibility for the effective management of your designated area, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace as per the Workshop 5s Standards
Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and liaising with the Service Manager/Service Supervisor to ensuring they are calibrated
Install, repair, check, PM of our systems at customer sites across the Netherlands
Handling of orders self-administering, in time and in communication with our customers
Responsible for tracking and maintaining both spare parts and device loaner inventories allocated to them
Modification and upgrade of Mindray equipment in Mindray’s EU warehouse in Hoevelaken
Makes decisions based on company policies and procedures. Discusses and refers unresolved service issues with the Service Manager/Service Supervisor
Other tasks or responsibilities designated by the Service Manager/Service Supervisor
What are we looking for in you?
Educated to Degree level or equivalent (High level diploma) in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology with relevant experience in servicing electronic equipment
Experience with networking medical devices and Ultrasound would be advantageous.
Good knowledge of IT networks and related components
Experience in medical capital equipment industry will be given preference
Fluent in Dutch, with strong business English – both written and spoken
Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of Electronic Medical equipment, or demonstrate experience in working on similar electronic equipment
Customer-oriented, with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Well-organized in workshop facilities and in field services
Able and willing to travel 40% of working time (Mainly within the Netherlands but could include Benelux and Nordics if required by the business in the future).
Full, clean driving licence
Ability to work in Netherlands without the requirement of company sponsorship
