Business Analyst, Energy Internship

The EMEA Business Operations team is looking for a Business Analytics Intern to support our mission in enabling a data driven business and generate knowledge from our complex data. You will drive change across the organization by assisting teams with identifying potential data problems and turning these into data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is skilled at data processing concepts, analytics, reporting, and is naturally motivated to seek out and fix problems in a methodical way.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the Energy team to support business needs related to data, reporting and process improvements
- Identify challenges and opportunities to improve the efficiency of our operations
- Investigate and explore opportunities to optimize, scale, and automatize processes using data-driven solutions and applications
- Work closely with Megapack operations team to support day to day operations
What You’ll Bring
- Currently studying Industrial Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Applied Analytics
- Level C1 in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with programming languages Python and/or R
- Experience with database languages (SQL), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and Microsoft Excel
- Hands on, able to support with day-to-day task and automation projects
- Experience with renewable energy generation systems is a plus but not required
- Self-motivated, fast learner capable of first principle thinking in an ever-changing data landscape
