Setting Out Engineer

On-Site International are looking for x2 Setting Out Engineers in Groningen, The Netherlands starting ASAP.

Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in The Netherlands. UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU – UK passport holding applicants must have a right to work VISA for The Netherlands.

Rate:

• €45/hour 

Duties:

• Setting out gridlines, levels, and key structural elements in line with drawings
• Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications
• Using surveying equipment (total station, GPS, laser levels) to ensure accuracy
• Verifying dimensions, coordinates, and tolerances before and during construction
• Liaising with site managers, subcontractors, and design teams
• Conducting as-built surveys and recording completed works
• Identifying and resolving setting out discrepancies or clashes
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with QA/QC and project standards
• Maintaining accurate site records and reports
• Supporting quality inspections and handover documentation

Hours:

• Monday – Friday 7am – 5:30 (paid 10 hours)
• 7am – 1pm Saturdays when required
• Option to work up to 12 hours/day mid week & up to 10 hours on Saturday

Duration:

• 6 months

Required:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• CSCS/ECS
